Angélica Millán is the Managing Attorney of Legal Services of Northern California’s Ukiah
Regional Office (LSNC). Following graduation from law school, Angélica began her legal
career clerking for the Sonoma County Superior Court judicial bench. Angélica then joined
LSNC’s Ukiah Regional Office as a Staff Attorney and has held the role of Managing
Attorney for almost ten years.
In her current role, Angélica oversees a staff responsible for providing legal assistance to the
rural poor in Mendocino and Lake counties in matters involving housing, re-entry, social
safety-net benefits, healthcare access, naturalization, elder abuse, disaster related rights, and
consumer protection. She leads her team in developing and maintaining collaborative
relationships with community based groups, government agencies, the private bar, and
courts to improve services and access to justice to culturally diverse, socio-economically
disadvantaged and geographically isolated communities. Angélica actively participates in local
community groups and committees addressing housing, racial equity, elder abuse and
homelessness.
Angélica received a dual degree in International Relations (emphasis in Third World
Development) and French from the University of California, Davis. She received her law
school degree from McGeorge School of Law, University of the Pacific. She is fluent in
Spanish.
