The final report on the Commission's Eviction Tsunami grants, a $750,000 program from The California Endowment that funded seven legal aid organizations and their community partners to respond to evictions as COVID-19 protections ended.
Building on the mid-year report, it describes how grantees reached deep into low-income communities with housing information and advice, helped tenants get rental assistance and stay housed, represented tenants in eviction cases, and strengthened their partnerships with community organizations.
