Report And Recommendations On Public Communications And Education To Narrow The Justice Gap (2021)

The California Access to Justice Commission presents this report and recommendations to the State Bar and other stakeholders on:

a.   Generating increased media coverage that demonstrates how civil legal aid helps ensure fairness in, and instills respect for, California’s justice system and its civic institutions; and 
b.  Strategies to reduce the “knowledge gap” on the part of people who face serious problems but do not seek legal help because they do not recognize their problems as legal.
